Diggers, backhoes, and buckets are great for most excavating, but they have a hard time with rocks and roots. That’s why MultiOne offers the ripper attachment. Its tines have no problem tearing through hard ground and the objects that block other digging tools.
The ripper uses a set of steel tines tipped with spades to cut through the earth as well as any roots buried beneath the soil. The tines’ curved profile helps it pull rocks and soil up and out instead of pushing it to the sides where it can compact, ensuring an even and soft soil layer. It uses a low profile design that’s well within the sight line of the operator, making it easy to position.
Articulation is handled by your mini loader’s boom, letting you set the angle to dig as deep as you need from shallow surfacing to cuts that allow you to plant all but the largest trees. Since this simple tool uses the force and movement of your mini loader to operate it, attachment is as simple as driving up to the tool and engaging the locking plate.
The ripper can dig up to 11.8 inches (30 cm) deep, and the entire attachment is 19.7 inches (50 cm) wide. It weighs 50.7 lbs. (23 kg) and is compatible with all four wheel MultiOne mini loaders.
