Flail Mower with Side Shift

Grounds Care

Do you need to cut tough brush in hard-to-reach locations but don’t have the time and manpower to dedicate to methods using hand-held equipment? The flail mower with side shift attachment can be positioned to move along gutters, underneath structures, and even along hedges, letting your mini loader trim these areas quickly and efficiently.

Using the side shift feature, this attachment can operate in front of the loader like a standard in-line flail mower, or sit at an offset up to 68.5 inches (174 cm) in either direction to cut in tight spaces and underneath objects. The deck of the mower can also move to different angles, dipping as low as 45 degrees below center line for mowing in ditches, or up to 90 degrees above center line for angled surfaces and hedges.

This attachment is available in three models: the 105, 125 and 150.

The 105 has a cutting width of 41.3 inches (105 cm) and uses 30 blades to cut through plant matter. It weighs 610 lbs. (277 kg.) This model is compatible with the S525, 5.3 and larger models, but it should be used with a loader no larger than an 8 Series for the best performance.

The 125 has a cutting width of 49.2 inches (125 cm,) slicing through brush with 36 blades. It weighs 662 lbs. (300 kg) and is compatible with 7 Series and larger loaders.

The biggest side shift flail mower is the 150. Its 59 inch (150 cm) wide deck uses 42 blades. It weighs 699 lbs. (371 kg) and is compatible with 9 and 10 Series loaders.
