Dual Blade Hedge Trimmer

Grounds Care

Need to trim a lot of vegetation? Want to cut up high without having to deal with a hand-held trimmer and a ladder? The dual blade hedge trimmer turns your MultiOne mini loader into a mobile trimming machine that can cut the tops and sides of bushes, shrubs, and trees.

As the name suggests, the dual blade hedge trimmer has two blades: one sits vertically to cut the sides of plants, and the second extends horizontally to cut the tops of plants. This lets it trim the tops and sides of vegetation in one pass, and since they’re mounted to your loader’s boom, it’s easy to raise and lower them to reach where you need to cut. As a unit, both bars can swing outward up to 28 degrees, and inward up to 25 degrees.

For most cutting, the horizontal bar sits at a 90 degree angle from the vertical bar, but the horizontal bar can be moved up to 71 degrees closer or 78 degrees further from the horizontal blade to best fit the bushes and trees being trimmed. These adjustments are made hydraulically, allowing the blade profile to be adjusted from the cab.

The vertical bar on the dual blade trimmer is 63 inches (160 cm) long, while the horizontal bar is 29.1 inches (74 cm) long. Total weight for this attachment is 353 lbs. (160 kg.)

This attachment can be used with all four wheel MultiOne loaders. For the best performance, a 5 Series or larger model is recommended.
