Farm animals need hay and straw, whether it’s for food or bedding, and the bale fork lets you use your mini loader to move that silage into storage or out to the livestock. Thanks to the high lift height and tight cornering of MultiOne’s mini loaders, this tool makes it easy to move large bales through barns, around animal pens and over fences.
Movement of the fork is done by the loader’s boom, so there’s no need to hook up the hydraulic lines; just line the coupling plate up with the back of the attachment to lock it in, and it’s ready to use. The spikes are designed to be long enough and wide enough apart that they can easily pick up round and square bales the same way you would lift a pallet with a pallet fork. The spikes can also be driven through the hay to lift the bale, letting this attachment carry two large bales at the same time. Once you’re ready to drop off the bales, they can be set down, or the boom can lift them over fences and drop them off so you don’t have to open the gate. Bend up a spike? No problem! The loading spikes are bolted to the fork body, so they’re easy to replace.
The spikes on the bale fork are 31.5 inches (80 cm) long and 33.5 inches (85 cm) apart. That’s narrow enough to pick up all but the smallest square bales, yet still leaves enough room to support the largest round bale. This attachment is compatible with all of MultiOne’s mini loaders from the three-wheel 1.1 to the massive 10 Series. The attachment itself weighs 88.2 lbs (40 kg,) so the only limit on what you can carry is the total lifting capacity of your loader minus the weight of this tool.
